Re-Building Lives After Disaster

The citizens of Kerala are still working to recover from the aftermath of the most devastating flood the state has experienced in almost a century.
The flooding triggered landslides, collapsed buildings and bridges, trapped entire families inside their demolished homes, and damaged over 6,200 miles of roads.
More than one million people have been displaced by the flooding, many seeking shelter in relief camps, and an estimated 445 have died.
